Xeomin in Miami, FL

Xeomin® is an injectable dermal filler that smooths lines, wrinkles, and creases between your eyes and on your forehead. Adam J. Rubinstein, M.D., F.A.C.S., a board-certified plastic surgeon with an office in Aventura, offers Xeomin® treatments to residents of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the surrounding South Florida community.

What Is Xeomin®?

Xeomin® is a dermal filler containing botulinum toxin, which temporarily affects facial muscles to prevent contractions that cause wrinkles, creases, and lines. By temporarily paralyzing the muscles, the botulinum toxin in Xeomin® allows the skin to relax and smoothen, reducing the severity of the lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive muscle contractions and facial expressions. Benefits of Xeomin®

Xeomin® is similar to Botox® as both products are produced from botulinum toxin, and designed to treat “dynamic wrinkles” caused by facial muscle contractions. Xeomin® offers a few advantages over Botox® in that it contains no additives, hence developing a resistance to the product is less likely. Xeomin® also provides faster results and costs less than Botox®. Like Botox®, Xeomin® is minimally-invasive, provides immediate results, and reduces lines and wrinkles for up to six months with a single treatment.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Xeomin®?

Anyone seeking a more youthful appearance may be a good candidate for Xeomin® treatment. Younger patients find that Xeomin® assists younger skin in keeping wrinkles at bay. It also works on mature skin that has lost its elasticity and firmness due to aging and/or exposure to the elements. If the presence of wrinkles, creases, and fine lines is of concern to you, Xeomin® may be right for you. Xeomin in Miami, FL

How Should I Prepare For Xeomin®?

Prior to your Xeomin® treatment, please let Dr. Rubinstein know if you have received any other injections over the prior four months, as well as whether you are taking medications such as aspirin and other blood thinners, allergy medications, sleep aids, NSAIDS, or muscle relaxers. You may have to temporarily suspend some medications while undergoing Xeomin® treatments.

How Is Xeomin® Administered?

Xeomin® is injected directly into the muscle tissue using a fine gauge needle. Dr. Rubinstein may first apply a topical numbing agent to the area to prevent any possible discomfort. Some patients require multiple injections to reduce stubborn lines and wrinkles. Xeomin® treatments take between 15 and 60 minutes, with results lasting three to six months. There is no required recovery time, and you will be able to resume your regular activities immediately following treatment.

How Much Does Xeomin® Cost In Miami?

The cost of Xeomin, like other fillers, depends on how much of the product you will require. Dr. Rubinstein’s office provides different payment options, including easy financing methods, since health insurance does not usually pay for elective cosmetic procedures such as Xeomin®. The office also accepts cash, personal checks, and credit cards as forms of payment. Dr. Adam J. Rubinstein, a Florida board-certified plastic surgeon in Aventura, provides a variety of dermal filler treatments including Xeomin® and many others for patients in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and South Florida area.
