I was referred to Dr. Rubinstein from my dermatologist and another plastic surgeon doctor both of whom I have been a patient for 25+ years for his assessment and suggested treatment of a necrotic wound issue。 I could not be happier with his knowledge, approach, and wiliness to assist and engage with my other doctors to create a care plan。 I validated his findings with Mt. Sinai hospital wound care team and he was spot on for a treatment plan. I have only seen him two times, but his demeanor and care for me seems as if we have known each other for years with his review of my medical history and his duly review of my specialized and unique case。 I could not be happier and have follow-up appointments for his continued engagement on my issue which is healing now based on his expertise and input consultation with my other engaged doctors on the issue。Posted on Google

I have been considering a face lift for several years and met with a few other Dr’s and never moved forward based on pictures they shared and their overall process . Once I met with Dr Rubenstein I knew he and his office staff where the ones that would ensure I would obtain the results in a natural looking way and were there throughout the healing process. From start to finish, he took the time to answer every single question I had nothing felt rushed or dismissed. His honesty and transparency really stood out; he didn't try to upsell or push anything unnecessary, which I genuinely appreciated. The pricing was very reasonable compared to other options I looked into, and the facility itself was immaculate extremely clean and well maintained. It's also worth mentioning the little touches they offer, like complimentary water and coffee, which made the wait comfortable and welcoming. From start to finish, everything was seamless - even flying in for the procedure, I felt completely taken care of the entire time. Dr. Rubinstein is incredibly talented and made me feel so confident in my decision. I’m already so happy with my results of my breast augmentation!! A huge shoutout to Barbie, the surgical coordinator, she is truly fantastic. She was incredibly responsive from day one, always quick to answer any questions, and genuinely cares so much about her patients. You can tell she goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and supported every step of the way. As a bonus, I also got started on LIVEWELL to help lose the remaining baby weight. Only during this visit today with him, did I actually get to speak with the doctor. He spent a substantial amount of time explaining all my options. Speaking with him and observing his confidence and knowledge totally made me feel comfortable in going forward with a procedure. His staff is friendly and also well informed. Today I went in for my 2 week post op appointment. Same professional and courteous treatment from the doctor and his staff. My results are coming along just as he explained and I am very happy and looking forward to more improvement along the way. With the great jazz, funk and R&B playlist (curated by Deejay Dr. R. himself); the great conversation; and the kind, expert care, it was more like a spa day than anything. Not kidding. Dr. R. squeezed me in at the last minute, due to my own scheduling mix-up, and after a customary in-take appointment the day before, I was out of surgery in about 2 hours. This was 3 years to the date of round 1 which was a lower body lift. The first surgery was so successful and my results are so beautiful that there was no better way to celebrate my surgiversary other than with a 2nd round to continue improving my results. I am already so happy less than 2 weeks later. I can’t wait to see my full results in a couple of my months once all the swelling is gone. Dr. Rubinstein is the very best at what he does! From the moment that you first meet with him all the way through post op care. Amazing bedside manner, honest and patient in explaining every detail. He is also very meticulous in his work which shows in the amazing results. There is no one that I would trust more than Dr. Rubinstein to be my surgeon. He has done such a great job at helping me see all of the work that I have been putting in nutritionally and physically at the gym over the past 10 years after a 100lb plus weight loss. William B.8 August 2025I want to share my immense gratitude and satisfaction after having my Diastasis recti repair surgery performed by Dr. Rubinstein and his team. From the very beginning, Dr. Rubinstein and his staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They answered every question I had--no matter how detailed--and truly made me feel comfortable and even a little excited about my upcoming procedure. Now, 90 days after my surgery, I honestly can't express how grateful I am for this experience. As a man of average height (6'1") and weighing 260 pounds, the severe Diastasis recti I suffered from caused me constant lower back pain and a persistent feeling of instability. I was always anxious that the large bulge in my abdominal wall might rupture during a workout, so I stopped exercising altogether, which affected my mood and confidence. Since the surgery, my results have been nothing short of life-changing. I have no back pain at all, my stability feels completely normal again, and best of all, my abdominal muscles are back where they should be--without that giant bulge. To other men who might be struggling with this condition, or suspect they have it: please see your doctor to get a proper diagnosis. If your Diastasis recti is severe, don't wait. Mine got worse over about ten years, and looking back, I wish I had addressed it much sooner. Despite what anyone might tell you, this condition does get worse with time, and no amount of exercise will fix it--only surgery can. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Dr. Rubinstein to anyone considering this procedure. It has truly changed my life for the better.Posted on Yelp

Dr. Rubenstein performed an arm lift and a lower body lift with fat transfer (bbl) to the buttocks. Both surgeries had exceptional results. He continues to exceed my expectations every time. Elizabeth J.21 July 2024I have recently had over $20K of plastic surgery with Dr Rubinstein, and l am extremely happy with the results. I am 64 years old. I ALSO had a face lift and some other work done by him in September of 2020, and I remain thrilled with my appearance! Dr. R is easy to talk to, never gets ruffled, even if l question things, and he is always very professional in his appearance and practices. I took a while in 2020 AND this past June, 2024, deciding how l wanted my appearance to change, and l cut out many magazine photographs to show Dr. R my preferences. Neither he nor the nurse who often assisted me ever rushed me or indicated l was taking longer than most people. His office staff, largely the same as 4 years ago, are friendly and professional as well. In particular, you will always get the attention of Tucker and Barbi as you go through the emails and texts needed for the many appointments, surgery, and follow-up visits the process takes. It's time-consuming, but this is how you will get everything possible from your time and money. Importantly, Dr. R tells you about what to expect and what can go wrong as best he can. I could tell he was a professional, gentleman but I wasn't sure what the "in person" experience would be like. Today was my first time visiting the office for my first surgical procedure consultation and my first impression is as follows: The office is clean and the decor is elegant from the moment you get out of the elevator. Penthouse vibes... well that maybe because you're in the Penthouse! All of the staff members are Top-tier professionals who are happy to go out of their way to give the very best white glove treatment experience possible. Tucker, a spirited firecracker, operational staff member that sets the stage for what's to come. Barbie, an AMAZING surgical coordinator that shares a story similar to mine. She made me feel like she was a friend giving me guidance and support. Barbie, Tucker and Dr. Rubenstein all made my experience as comfortable and welcoming as possible. All of my questions and discussion points were shared, and it felt like a true team effort, incoming up with the best plan of action for me. A completely custom plan and a completely Custom experience! My only critique is that I did wait in my private room for a little while before my consult started but I think I was just eager to the party started. Loving the new me ?? A friend of mine recommend him to me after a 150 lb weight loss . I tossed the idea around because of cost ( I had always had a feeling of peace and well-being as I came through his doors. Though 3x to be exact before I booked !!! Snatched at 47!! Best Decision Ever! After losing over 100lbs and maintaining for years a lower body lift was the only way to go for me. Feeling blessed and grateful to have found Dr Rubinstein and his amazing team. Dr Rubinstein has allowed me to see myself how I felt on the inside. No more loose skin and I am Loving it! Can’t wait to get back to my active lifestyle. As far as the procedure I never felt any pain just discomfort mostly from the muscle repair and the drains. Once the drains started coming out it all started to get better and better. I am now 5 weeks post op and there is still swelling but nothing unmanageable. I would do it over and over again if I had too. Hands down the best surgeon! Dr Rubinstein kept me overnight with a private nurse to care for me. I opted to have a pain pump placed to assist with pain management. He gave me is personal cell to call him when needed. I did reached out a few times via text and he replied within minutes. I also called once and he answered right away. I can’t praise him and his staff enough! Everyone is so attentive and caring. I would like to have one more procedure some day, bra lift and arm lift. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be done by Dr Rubinstein! Updated on 6 Feb 2023: So pleased with my results! At 10 weeks ato have some swelling that takes place. Mostly right above the Pubic area. Can’t wait to see my Dr for my 12 week check up and see what he thinks of my results. Have some more work that I would like to have done. Upper abdomen still has some loose skin but this was due to the massive weight loss. Only regret was not getting a Fleur D’lis which would have gotten rid of the loose skin up top. Please get the following personal advices : The Pro- balance massages prior to the surgery and after has helped tremendously, rent a standing reclinable it really helped me tremendously the horrible pain for the first 3 days were easy with the help of the reclinable, prepare pineapple juice and have it refrigerated , take with you on the day of saltine crackers , my drive home was 1 hour and this helped . The girdle given is amazing . Front desk Tucker is an asset for this office, He is courteous, always complements the clients, and always smiling . Flavia is super knowledgeable, she puts pride in her career, thanks to her I now love the results of the massages. Especially Barbie! I did lipo of outer and inner thighs with fat transfer into the hip dips. I didn’t want to look fake or overdone, just to get smoother, improved and rounder hips with a slender outer thigh, and now over two months out from the procedure I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results.Healing was pretty fast about 1 week to 10 days and swelling reduced after about 6 weeks. Now at almost three months post-op I still have slight skin discoloration where bruising was, and scars are small and very minimal. Only 2 small incisions (out of total 6 small incisions made) are visible and those are still healing and will continue to fade with time.The results look natural, almost perfectly symmetrical, and most of all, what I wanted! Post-op, Barbie, the surgical coordinator, continued to stay in touch and make sure all my expectations and needs were met. Desire B.18 May 2019My first fear coming to the office was going to be parking. Luckily, parking was an absolute breeze. There are plenty of spaces located right outside of the building. A quick and painless elevator ride up to the penthouse leads you to his beautiful and cozy office where you will be greeted by some of the kindest office staff I have ever encountered. The wait was short and sweet. My appointment was with Ramzi and she actually came to get me herself. She sat with me for a good 20 minutes to explain the procedure I was going to be having. Not only did she explain everything there was to know about Botox, she answered all of my questions with no hesitation or frustration. She has amazing hands and technique! She listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that with what she also recommended. It was a perfect combination and I'm grateful for her! The Injections were absolutely painless and very quick. I walked out of the office feeling like a million bucks. I definitely look forward to coming back in a few months for a touch up and maybe a little extra here and there. I failed to mention I came to Dr. Rubensteins' office from West Kendall. It was about an hr drive, and although I know there are plenty of medspas and drs offices from my house to aventura, I wouldn't have chosen to do my Botox with anyone else. Was referred to Dr. Rubinstein by a dermatologist that told me basically my skin moles weren't cancerous and if I wanted to remove them it would be the most preventive method, rather than watching them very closely. He said Dr. Rubinstein would take care of me, which Dr. Rubinstein did well. It was easy to make an appointment. The office building has plenty of parking, the view from the Penthouse floor is gorgeous, and the office is pristine. The entire staff was wonderful and there. Dr. Rubinstein patiently and conscientiously went through my medical history and explained my options without pressure toward my decision. Dr. Rubinstein's bedside manner is a sight to behold. You can tell he has many years of experience, the respect of staff, and a perfect understanding of patients like me. Once in the operating room he asked me what kind of music I wanted and maintained a fascinating discussion while operating. I was totally shocked at the painlessness due to whatever he used and how he removed my skin marks. It was great that he has interesting stories to listen to and chat about while he was operating. I can’t believe I didn’t do this before!!! The purples marks in the first photo are from the pen the doctor used to mark the dimples. The real bruises started 24 hours later. I was leaking some fluid and blood but that stopped within 24 hours. Updated on 22 May 2018: I’m doing great. Almost all of the bruising is cleared up and my cellulite is almost all gone. While I would love for those marks to not be there, I think I would rather have those than the big deep holes. I've always had a double chin regardless of the size i was and i hated it,especially looking in the mirror as well as in pictures. I became very subconscious about my face. I considered many options from coolsculpting to kybella and the most feasible one was submental liposuction with guaranteed result first treatment. (That was best treatment for me). The total price was $2,500 however i paid about 2,050 because i traveled to get it done. I did many research on doctors and as well as their credentials and Dr Rubinstein i felt confident in. I did a consultation via email/phone. Appointment was booked. I did less research about a week or two about the procedure as well as watching videos because i didn't want to become so frightened and not go ahead with it because its something that i really wanted . The staff are amazing,and very professional answers question and listen to your needs if something bothers you. Cut a long story short ,Dr Rubinstein explain the entire procedure in the surgery room,the most comfortable part was the anesthetic,numbing medication. The needle was more or a pinched and i felt the fluid a little as it was injected. To be honest it was not horrible as i anticipated. Once i was numb i didn't felt a thing!!! Just like he said!!! The liposuction was about an hour,start to finish. I got a look before the facial garment was put on and it was unbelievable,just beautiful and swollen of course. Thank God everything went well am so thankful to him of course for guiding the doctor as well as protecting me.I haven't had any pain since the surgery but i took two Tylenol extra strength today. However an wearing the compression garment that was placed on my face and would be for awhile. First day,so am not sure what pain or discomfort I'll get later on. I will keep you posted. ???? The problem with the Groupon that I found was the fact that it was advertised $99 for 20 units for one area. When we were there, we were told it wasn't 20 units but whatever they thought was needed for that area. So I ended up getting 16 units. Also, Groupon got the address wrong. The location is on the penthouse not on the third floor. What was a little disappointing was the fact when no one mentioned the discrepancy in the Groupon description when I called to schedule an appointment. But hey, maybe it's just me.... Early 30's VI Peel ... Ouchy! Like most people in their 30's, I want to keep my skin young looking. I have light freckles that I would love to eliminate if possible. It was suggested that the peel would refresh my skin and I would have great results. The technician said if I did the peel on Tuesday, I would peel on Thursday and Friday, and would be fine for the weekend. Yikes, that wasn't quite accurate. It's now Friday evening, and my fave is a mess! It's red, sore, sensitive, peeling and breaking out. Updated on 20 Mar 2016: So every morning I wake up thinking the worst is behind me, and my skin will get better, but the recovery is painful and slow. I honestly don't think my skin has ever looked worse. The main issue is that my neck completely broke out. I do get the occasional pimple around that time of the month, but never anything like this. The other main problem has been around my eyes. The skin is so sensitive and sore, and feels so wrinkly like I aged 5 years. I still have a lot of red patches of dry skin. After I wash my face my skin feels very dry and tight and I have no choice but to put some face cream on, even though I feel that's not so great for the breakout. To explain the pictures: I started peeling about 40-45 hrs after the peel application (Thu). I had to run an errand so I was in the sun briefly that afternoon. The area on my chin that was briefly exposed has stayed the most red. The skin underneath was super sensitive to anything. Especially the sunscreen and face protection cream that came with the peel. By Friday evening most of the skin has peeled off, and only a few patches remained. I also started breaking out on Friday. By Saturday evening the peeling was mostly complete, but certain areas that were super dry and red started peeling the second time. It was painful, and itchy, and sore. I had to ice my face. I discovered that aquaphor is recommended online, which I had at home and have been using it. Sunday my face hurt less and was less sensitive but still very dry and tight after washing, and still covered in red patches and my neck is still terrible. On the upper side of my cheeks, on the left and right, my skin discolored after the peel, and these two areas took the longest to peel off. The discoloration that occurred did peel off, and the skin is now pinkish in these areas. I believe the discoloration was just my light freckles coming to surface and peeling off. I wanted to post these pictures as I had no idea my skin would get so awful. It certainly ruined my weekend and I haven't left my house. Funny that I would pay to do this to myself ????. At this point I'm not even hoping for improvement, I'm just hoping my skin returns back to the way it was. However this time a Around i was very much pleased! The provider (Barbara) paid close attention to my needs and concerns, and was very careful injecting the filler. I do a little swelling, on the left side, but can see this has improved in the last 24 hrs and the result are amazing!!!, I highly recommend Barbara, she also did my Botox in frown line/forehead, she's amazing!! Totally pleAsed! Worth every cent! Updated on 3 Dec 2015: I'm thrilled I had Voluma, this stuff truly does work and gives your face a youthful look, almost like contour with no need of the extra makeup for the contour look in your cheek bones. Aventura, FL So for years I have been saying I was going to have liposuction on my abdominal area. I am 5'1" and after my last pregnancy (my children are 10 years apart) I noticed that area was getting just a little too big. Son graduated from High school I realized it was time for me to have the procedure done. Before finalizing my procedure I appealed to everyoneelse's concern, saying it may be something other than fat... yea right. So I took all of their concerns and went full steam ahead. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy to make sure everything was digesting properly. I stopped eating meat for fear that things were not digesting well. Stopped eating bread and other yeast products for obvious reasons. And finally I worked out HARD. But much to their surprise but my validation there was still no results in the AB area. I spoke with Dr. Rubinstein's office for a year and finally made the leap this past February. By leap I mean traveling from Washington, DC during the snow season and flying to Miami to have this procedure done. By far, one of the best decisions I have ever made. I still have a small pouch in the lower abdominal area that I plan to address within a year of this procedure. jackiero14 April 2014Saline to Silicone, Deflation Revision! - Aventura, FL I was experiencing my second deflation of my right breast and decided that I was going to have as many consultations as I could this time around. Dr. Rubinstein was the first doctor I saw and surprisingly the one that spent the most time talking to me. I actually went to 5 different doctors and Dr. Rubinstein was the only doctor that I can honestly say, cared to hear me and understand what it was I wanted from this surgery. I had my breast aug in 2008, I went from a small B to what ended up being a full C / small D. I had my surgery at the South Center for Cosmetic Surgery, and despite what I had expressed I ended up with more than I wanted. In 2011 I experienced a deflation of my right breast, without any thought I immediately scheduled an appt with my doctor at the Center of South Florida and did what I thought was best to resolve it. I never asked questions or was given any advice or options. In November of 2013 I had my second deflation, only this time I took my time looking around, and asking a million questions. Dr. Rubinstein really tries to get inside your head, so he can picture the imagine you want for yourself, after all it is plastic surgery. I've had three breast augments, replacements, or revisions within 6 years and I'm just 30 years old, I really grateful for Doctors like Dr Rubinstein who are really driven by the desire to help people. He really took the time to understand exacting what I wanted and helped me achieve the look I wanted. His whole staff is very professional, and attentive. My whole experience has been truly a blessing and my recovery was swift. My breast came out looking and feeling amazing, I truly feel I made the right decision when choosing Dr Rubinstein. I starting exploring the idea of lipo almost 2 years before Dr. R performed my procedure. I had numerous consultations with doctors in Miami. One visit, I never saw the doc just some person that told me all about the surgery, no doc present. When I went to Dr. R... I was blown away and surprised. He took time to speak with me and answered my questions. He was not pushy and his staff is exemplary!!!!! I did not feel rushed and most importantly....I was comfortable! He made me feel completely at ease and informed me of every single detail. I did not get my surgery at first due to my complete fear and getting in my own way , but when I came back the next year ..his staff (Yubi And Vanessa) happily greeted me! Dr. R was nice! I had lipo with him! My stomach, back and flanks look awesome! I'm telling you if you are considering lipo ... DO NOT look anywhere else! Call Yubi in Dr. R 's office now !Posted on RealselfTerriV635 January 2014Finally Got Thigh Lift and Lipo! - Aventura, FL Finally took leap to fix what years of exercise and diet could not-- got rid of those saddle bags on sides of legs and had inner thigh lift. I'm now about 5 weeks out, and feeling pretty good! Lost about 2 inches on each leg and have tighter appearance. My procedure involved incisions along inside of legs about 3/4 way each leg. I was very concerned about this, but my doctor did such a great job -- the incisions are straight and he did not need to go up into groin area, in other words, he only did what was absolutely necessary. Now as I am healing and swelling going down, I can definitely tell the difference. Pain at incision sites still there, but less so every day. This is most certainly a challenging procedure, but if you hate your thighs as much as I did, it is definitely worth it! Updated on 10 Jan 2014: I'm 5 weeks out and walking (and running!) quite well. The incisions are sore in the sense that I know they are there, but quite well healed. I massage my thighs overall -- and gently around the incisions -- every day in the shower, and that made the bruises go away and swelling decline rather quickly. Overall, it was 10 days before I felt comfortable enough to drive, go to work (at a desk job) and a good 4 weeks before I felt someone normal and able to start running again. I walked every day, even the day after surgery (obviously, not far at first). Lots of hydration, good nutrition, etc. Doctor says that in 2 more months it will be like nothing happened, and I'm beginning to believe him. Of course, I will still have the results! Updated on 4 Feb 2014: I'm posting some before pictures, as well as 1 week out and today -- 2 months out. No one would say my new thighs are "skinny" but boy there is a difference. Male I had a relatively non-invasive neck lift. Only 3 stitches. It was performed exactly like promised. There was minimal post procedure pain, done in an outpatient setting. Miami Beach39020 March 2013I Am So Happy with my New Face - Miami, FL I was unhappy with my old tired 60 years olf face , drooping eyes lids and sagging jowls. So after a lot of reseach, I decided to have a facelift, eye lift and necklift 4 months ago in Nov 2012. My Plastic surgeon is Dr. Adam Rubinstein in Aventura. My face is now so beautiful, I look 20 years younger. I and my husband absolutely loves my new face. I feel like we are having "second honeymoon". The surgery went very well. I did not feel pain. The pain medication worked very good. I went home and after 3 days I was up and about ,doing my usual activities . Dr. Rubinstein personally took care of all post op procedures i.e removing the bandages, sutures etc so gently. I had some bruises but after 2 months they were all gone. He gave me a box of Latisse after the surgery and I was having fun watching my lashes grow and my bruises disminished. Then I bought another Latisse box and I now have long sexy lashes. 3 weeks ago I decided to try Juvederm lips injection after reading Realself.com reviews. Dr. Rubinstein did the procedure very well. My lips are now more beautiful, fuller, sexier yet natural looking. It is amazing what a filler in the hand of a good plastic surgeon can do to the lips.
