Microblading in Miami, FL

Skip doing your eyebrows with your makeup every day with microblading! Microblading is a semi-permanent and natural-looking solution for patients who wish to have camera-ready brows without the hassle. Board-certified plastic surgeon Adam J. Rubinstein, M.D., F.A.C.S., is proud to offer microblading to the residents of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and South Florida at his Aventura office.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a minimally invasive cosmetic treatment that allows patients to get the full, natural-looking eyebrows they desire without having to spend time in front of the mirror each morning doing their makeup. Instead, microblading is a detailed semi-permanent tattoo that mimics the appearance of individual hairs within the eyebrows. Like other permanent makeup techniques, microbladed eyebrows are a long-lasting solution that allows our patients to have picture-perfect brows no matter the occasion. Whether you want to go to the beach and spend time in the water or roll out of bed to meet your friends for brunch, your microbladed eyebrows will leave you looking flawless.

What Can I Expect During My Microblading Treatments?

Your microblading treatment will be performed by one of our expert aesthetics professionals in our beautiful office. Before your treatment begins, your aesthetics professional will sit down with you and discuss your preferences. This includes the fullness of your brows, the thickness of each individual hair, and the “hair color” you desire. Once you and your aesthetician determine a plan, a topical anesthetic will be applied to your treatment area. Once numb, your aesthetician will begin making small, hair-like strokes with the specialized microblade. Because this technique needs to be precise to provide you with your ultimate results, this tattooing process may take up to two hours to complete. Patients typically close their eyes during this time to relax while their eyebrows are being completed.

What is Microblading Recovery Like?

Immediately following your microblading treatment, you may find your eyebrows are dark and intense. This coloration will fade throughout your recovery process to your desired preference. Over the next two to four weeks, you may experience scabbing and sensitivity along your eyebrows. This is normal and generally resolves on its own. Patients may be encouraged to avoid the use of makeup and harsh skincare products for up to two weeks following treatment.

How Long Does Microblading Last?

Your microblading treatment has the potential to last up to two years. That being said, we may recommend a fill-in treatment about eight weeks following your first treatment and maintenance treatments once each year to maintain your desired results.

How Much Does Microblading Cost?

Microblading is a cosmetic procedure, so the total cost typically falls onto the patient with no help from insurance. Dr. Rubinstein proudly offers financing options to all patients to make these procedures more attainable for every individual.  Feel confident in your appearance, both with and without makeup!
